About the role

We are seeking a Strategic Sales Manager (monday.com) to join our Spanish entity on a temporary basis to cover a maternity leave.

This position is offered under a Spanish Contrato de Sustitución, linked to the statutory leave of the employee being replaced. The contract will automatically end upon the return of the employee currently on leave. This contract will be approximately 6 months, depending on statutory maternity leave.

Are you a dynamic individual with a flair for building and maintaining strong customer relationships? We’re seeking a Strategic Sales Manager to join Adaptavist Spain, focused on accelerating growth for our monday.com partnership across the Spanish market through monday.com licensing and supporting services. Working within a collaborative, remote-first team, you’ll own a Spain-based territory and book of business, engaging mid-market and enterprise customers to drive recurring revenue through consultative client engagement and strong CRM discipline in HubSpot.

What you'll be doing

Sales Strategy and Execution

  • Managing your individual sales funnel while driving the entire sales cycle, developing business from various sources (partner referrals, marketing leads, existing relationships) and nurturing existing accounts, aiming to surpass individual sales targets.
  • Engaging medium to enterprise-level clients, understanding and addressing long-term needs to add value beyond immediate requests.
  • Adjusting strategies in negotiations, recognising when to compromise and when to seek a fresh perspective.

Product and Services Knowledge

  • Developing deep expertise in the monday.com platform and Adaptavist’s monday.com services (service packages, implementations, strategic consulting, bespoke engagements), using this knowledge to inform future service development.
  • Utilizing value-based selling to articulate the monday.com platform’s benefits, aligning services with customer business goals.

Strategic Collaboration and Reporting

  • Collaborating with the Services Manager and consultants to customize client solutions, aiming for strategic revenue growth.
  • Monitoring and reporting on key metrics like client retention and satisfaction to the Services Manager, adjusting strategies as needed.

Communication and Networking

  • Building new connections and evaluating your network’s effectiveness in achieving strategic objectives.
  • Communicating effectively across diverse audiences, handling high-stakes negotiations and securing support for initiatives.
  • Managing emotions when dealing with irrational counterparts or challenging relationships, taking a constructive approach that focuses on solutions.

What we're looking for

  • Sales Excellence: Proven ability in B2B sales, especially with mid-market and enterprise customers, through effective cross-selling, up-selling, and consultative selling techniques.
  • Client Engagement Skills: Exceptional relationship-building, with strong communication and the ability to conduct in-depth scoping, qualification, and discovery sessions.
  • Strategic Thinking: Skilled in strategic account planning and execution, with a knack for identifying high-value opportunities and prioritizing efforts.
  • Solution Crafting: Demonstrates a deep understanding of prospect challenges, collaborating with internal teams to devise tailored solutions.
  • Storytelling and Value Proposition Selling: Excels in conveying the unique benefits of our products and services through engaging storytelling, effectively positioning them against competitors to highlight our competitive advantage.
  • Technical and Analytical Proficiency: Solid understanding of monday.com platform, CRM tools (preferably HubSpot), and the ability to analyze business needs for solution identification.
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or related field preferred. Fluency in additional languages and willingness to travel occasionally for client engagements or team meetings.
  • Additional Attributes: Emotional intelligence, adaptability, and a proven track record of managing workloads effectively in a remote environment
