Manager, Global PR & Executive Communications

Syniti is looking to hire a PR & executive communications manager to develop and implement a comprehensive global PR and corporate external communications strategy. The ideal candidate will have both in-house and agency communications experience, ideally working in or with global organizations. You will be a strong writer, adept at working with executives on their brand building with a keen ability to understand their individual “voice” and translate those messages with key audiences. This role is critical for shaping public perception, building relationships, and driving positive outcomes for Syniti, particularly in elevating the company's Data First message via media and other influencers.

You love to seek out stories, hone internal “sources” and craft engaging and impactful stories. You get super excited over media placements, garnering speaking opportunities and angling for industry awards, and translating those into key metrics for how we build the Syniti brand via share of voice and key media influence.

In this role, you will:

• Create a strategic roadmap for PR and external communications initiatives that align with Syniti’s overall goals and objectives.
• Drive brand awareness, enhance reputation, and support business growth through effective communication strategies.
• Manage Syniti’s Americas (AMS)-based global PR agency and coordinate with EMEA & APJ PR agencies.
• Establish press release calendar and cadence; work closely with CEO, CFO/CBO on company news.
• Work with PR agencies to evaluate media opportunities.
• Works across Syniti and with agencies to create steady volume of pitches to generate media coverage, including rapid response opportunities, to firmly drive Syniti’s data first message with key influencers and media.
• Identify key opportunities for executive PR/branding needs globally (working with regional colleagues) – i.e. taking advantage of regional travel for media opps.
• Set benchmarks/KPIs for PR and manage monthly/quarterly reporting for marketing and executives.
• Oversee the development and distribution of compelling content, including press releases, articles, thought leadership pieces, and ensure content aligns with the company's brand and messaging strategy.
• Manage global & regional PR agency budgets alongside regional colleagues.
• Draft and/or review executive communications (speeches, presentations, other written content) to ensure tone is consistent with executive; work with internal comms manager on distribution.
• Coordinate with APJ, EMEA and AMS marketing leads on press coverage as needed for events.

To be successful in this role, you need:

• Proven experience (~7 years of experience) in PR, corporate communications or related roles, ideally at an agency; bonus points for having agency and in-house experience where you managed agencies.
• Familiarity with data management a plus; experience in software/services tech.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communications skills.

• Experience in media relations, crisis management, issues management and executive communications.
• Proficiency in managing relationships with media outlets, journalists and influencers.
