Symmetrio is recruiting a Sales Representative (Radiation Therapy) for their client, a large multi-national medical device company. The ideal candidate for this position should possess a proven track record of success in medical device sales, with a particular focus on radiation therapy solutions. A minimum of 5 years of directly relevant experience is required, during which the candidate has demonstrated their ability to consistently meet and exceed sales targets, navigate complex sales cycles, and build strong partnerships with healthcare decision-makers. The Sales Representative will be expected to leverage their deep understanding of the radiation oncology market, stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technological advancements, and effectively communicate the unique value proposition of our client's cutting-edge products.

In addition to their sales expertise, the successful candidate must possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling them to engage with a wide range of stakeholders, from radiation oncologists and medical physicists to hospital administrators and procurement teams. The ability to deliver compelling presentations, conduct product demonstrations, and provide comprehensive training to healthcare professionals will be critical to success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets for Radiation Therapy products in the assigned territory.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers, including radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and hospital administrators.
  • Provide in-depth product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions to educate healthcare professionals on the benefits and proper use of brachytherapy solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, clinical support, and research and development, to ensure the effective promotion and implementation of brachytherapy products.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and product improvement.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the latest advancements in radiation therapy and brachytherapy techniques to provide expert guidance to customers.
  • Attend and represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and educational events to promote brachytherapy products and expand professional networks.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and revenue projections using CRM software.
  • Collaborate with the sales management team to develop and implement effective sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare laws, regulations, and company policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as life sciences, medical technology, or business.
  • Minimum of 5 years of successful medical device sales experience, preferably in radiation oncology or a closely related field.
  • Strong understanding of radiation therapy and brachytherapy principles, techniques, and equipment.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
