As a Test AutomationEngineer at Suzega, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our AI-powered applications through comprehensive test automation. You'll build robust testing frameworks using Playwright and modern testing tools to deliver exceptional user experiences. The ideal candidate should possess strong automation expertise, a quality-first mindset, and passion for building systems that help AI work better with people.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright for web applications
- Create and execute comprehensive test suites covering functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Develop automated tests for AI-powered features including LLM integrations, conversational interfaces, and data pipelines
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and define test strategies
- Implement CI/CD integration for automated testing in deployment pipelines
- Perform API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar frameworks
- Conduct performance and load testing to ensure application scalability
- Identify, document, and track bugs using issue tracking systems (Jira, Linear, GitHub Issues)
- Review code and test coverage to ensure quality standards
- Create and maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test reports
- Monitor test execution results and provide clear reporting on quality metrics
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives
- Stay current with testing best practices, tools, and emerging technologies
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in QA automation and software testing
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for web automation testing
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python for test automation
- Experience with test automation frameworks and design patterns (Page Object Model, BDD)
- Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST APIs)
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
- Experience with API testing tools and frameworks
- Familiarity with testing databases and data validation
- Understanding of agile/scrum methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
