Project Scope:

We are seeking an experienced EMRIntegration Healthcare Consultant to support healthcare IT systems, includingElectronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR), Laboratory Information Systems, PACS, andPharmacy systems. This role involves implementation, integration, maintenance,and troubleshooting of healthcare applications and related interfaces to ensureseamless clinical and operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support implementation activities including build, testing, and go-live of healthcare systems (EHR, Lab, PACS, Pharmacy)
  
• Maintain healthcare IT infrastructure including applications, databases, templates, and reporting tools
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve EMR-related issues, including triage, escalation, and root cause analysis
  
• Support system integrations and ensure smooth data flow across healthcare platforms
  
• Develop and generate reports for business and clinical users
  
• Document current workflows and processes for medical and mental healthcare providers
  
• Collaborate with vendors, clinical teams, and technical stakeholders for system enhancements and support
  

Required Skills & Experience:

·7+ years ofexperience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems(preferably NextGen)

·7+ years ofexperience with Mirth Connect (Lab Systems / Integration Engine)

·7+ Years ofExperience EMR Integration

·Strong experiencein troubleshooting, system support, and healthcare IT environments

·Experienceworking directly for a State Government Agency

·7+ Years ofExperience with Interoperability and Data Transfer

Preferred Skills:

·Experience with HL7messaging standards

·Experience with FHIR

·Strong backgroundin EMR integration and interoperability

·NextGen ConnectCertification

·EHR Certification

·PracticeManagement Certification

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science,Health Administration, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalentexperience)
