What began as a personal mission has evolved into a nationwide leader in the care-at-home industry. In 2004, Paul DiCosmo co-founded StateServ after witnessing a family member's distressing experience with durable medical equipment (DME) during hospice care. Determined to prevent such incidents for others, he established StateServ Medical in Tempe, Arizona, with a goal to revolutionize DME management for hospices. Initially launching as a physical delivery service, the company quickly expanded its footprint, driven by a commitment to compassion, reliability, and innovation.

Over the next two decades, the company underwent a significant transformation, growing from a regional provider into a comprehensive technology and service platform. A major milestone occurred in 2018 with the merger of StateServ and Hospicelink, creating a market leader in DME benefit management. The evolution continued in early 2024 with the acquisition of Delta Care Rx, a national pharmaceutical care provider, allowing the company to integrate pharmacy solutions with its existing DME offerings. In June 2024, to reflect this holistic approach and its expanded capabilities, StateServ rebranded as Dragonfly Health. Today, Dragonfly Health serves millions of patients across all 50 states, leveraging its proprietary DMETrack platform and a vast network of providers to deliver 'peace of mind' to caregivers, patients, and families during their most critical moments.
