Senior Account Executive - Digital Experience Platform
Location: New Zealand (flexible working)
We are seeking a commercially driven Senior Account Executive to strengthen and expand our New Zealand customer portfolio while accelerating new enterprise growth in market.
This is a high-impact role as our primary commercial lead in market. You will drive new enterprise revenue, grow strategic existing customers, and operate as a trusted digital advisor. Success requires a hunter mentality combined with the ability to lead executive-level digital strategy conversations that unlock long-term value from the Squiz Digital Experience Platform (DXP).
You will own revenue across the New Zealand market while partnering closely with regional marketing, solutions, and delivery teams.

The Role
This role combines enterprise new business sales, account growth, and strategic digital consulting.
You will generate and close new opportunities, expand existing enterprise accounts, and lead high-value discovery engagements that position Squiz as a long-term strategic partner.
New Business and Revenue Growth
Identify, prospect, and close new enterprise opportunities across New Zealand
Own the full sales cycle from outreach to contract execution
Build and manage a strong, predictable pipeline
Develop compelling proposals and business cases focused on return on investment
Engage C-level and senior decision-makers with confidence
Existing Customer Growth
- Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic enterprise customers
- Identify expansion and cross-sell opportunities aligned to customer roadmaps
- Lead value-led executive conversations to drive retention and platform adoption
Strategic Digital Consulting
- Lead discovery sessions and executive workshops
- Translate business challenges into actionable digital roadmaps
- Position DXP capabilities in terms of measurable business outcomes
- Support deal progression through insight, credibility, and value articulation
Collaboration and Market Leadership
- Act as the face of Squiz in New Zealand
- Partner with regional teams to refine go-to-market strategy
- Feed market insight back into product and consulting evolution
Who you are
- Background in a digital agency or digital consulting environment is highly regarded
- Proven success in B2B SaaS new business sales
- Experience growing and expanding enterprise accounts
- Comfortable leading strategic, consultative sales engagements
Experience in government, higher education, professional services or utilities is highly regarded - Strong commercial acumen with the ability to articulate return on investment
- Confident influencing and engaging senior stakeholders
- Self-driven and comfortable operating autonomously in a growth market
- Strong communication skills with disciplined CRM and pipeline management
