Mobile Developer (React Native) - LATAM

We’re looking for a Mobile Developer (React Native) to join our growing engineering team. You’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications, collaborating closely with product and design teams to deliver high-quality, user-focused solutions.

About Working at Space Inch

• Our team (70+ people) is primarily based in Croatia, with members in South America, Serbia, and the US. While focus is on working remotely, we do have an office in Zagreb for those who prefer a hybrid approach and are located nearby.
• Occasional travel may be required, including annual company retreats in Croatia.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as a Mobile Developer.
• Strong experience working with React Native for iOS and Android.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and backend services (Node.js, Express.js, or NestJS).
• Experience with state management frameworks such as Redux or MobX.
• Familiarity with mobile build and release pipelines (App Store, Google Play, Fastlane, or EAS).
• Experience working with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and local data storage (SQLite, AsyncStorage, Realm, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English.
• Candidates must be located within the LATAM region.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance, scalable mobile applications using React Native.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver seamless mobile experiences.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Optimize app performance, ensuring responsiveness and smooth UI/UX.
• Contribute to code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Keep up to date with mobile development trends, libraries, and best practices.
