Senior Frontend Engineer

Sona is a decentralized music streaming and marketplace protocol that puts artists, independent or not, back in the drivers seat of culture creation. We’re a lean team building software that empowers artists to make their best work and get paid what they’re worth.

We’re a remote-first team, looking for technologists that want to help revolutionize the way artists get paid and connect with their fans.

The Role:

As an early engineer on the frontend team you’ll work on our website, web app and frontend infrastructure. The Frontend team is responsible for creating and manage apps that integrate with music streaming infrastructure and protocols.

What You’ll do:

• Collaborate with our design and protocol teams to integrate and implement new features and interfaces

• Create open source SDKs for that let developers integrate with our marketplace and staking protocols

• Build reactive, intuitive music streaming and social sharing experiences

What We’re Looking for:

• Proficiency with Typescript, React and a styling framework (we use Tailwind)

• Experience shipping high quality components and user interfaces

• Web3 Experience (a plus)

• Previous contributions to OSS libraries or frameworks (a plus)

• Proficiency with Next.js (a plus)
