Position: Design Manager

Scope of the Role

The LatAm Design Manager will be a key player in our design team, managing client interactions and internal design processes. This role demands a high level of proficiency in Figma, excellent communication skills, and strong leadership abilities. The ideal candidate will be adept at creating compelling pitch decks, guiding clients through the design process, and managing design projects with precision and creativity.

Duties and responsibilities:

Client Interaction & Management:

• Conduct virtual meetings with clients to discuss project requirements and provide design consultations.
• Walk clients through design processes and rationales behind design decisions.
• Create and present pitch decks to clients for project proposals and updates.

Design Leadership:

• Lead and mentor a team of internal designers, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to project timelines.
• Oversee the management of design requests via Trello, ensuring efficient workflow and client satisfaction.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and translate them into compelling design solutions.

Design Execution:

• Utilise Figma to create, review, and refine designs for brand, web, and product-focused projects.
• Maintain a high standard of design quality and consistency across all projects.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends and tools to continuously improve the design process.

Requirements

• Excellent English communication skills
• 3+ years of experience as a Design Manager, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work in Figma.
• Exceptional skills in Figma.
• Proficiency in Trello for project management and Slack for internal communications.
• Experience working with high-end clientele, preferably in a subscription-based service model.
