Project – the aim you’ll have
We are looking for a Team Coordinator responsible for the operational management of a team delivering and maintaining a Kubernetes (K8S) platform for a key client – a Managed Service Provider in Western Europe. The team is responsible for the client's largest K8S deployment and plays a critical role in the platform’s ongoing development, lifecycle management, and stability.
Position – how you’ll contribute
- Lead the team’s day-to-day operations, balancing platform development and maintenance tasks.
- Act as the primary escalation point for client teams regarding platform-related topics.
- Coordinate workload across incident/ticket resolution (via ServiceNow), platform lifecycle management (LCM), and feature development.
- Manage priorities and resource allocation in alignment with client stakeholders (Product Owners, architects, business).
- Drive the definition, implementation, and continuous improvement of team processes for both development and operations.
- Provide regular reporting and updates to both the client organization and internal leadership.
- Promote the team’s achievements and ensure visibility of its impact within the client organization.
Expectations – the experience you need
- Solid understanding of ITIL and SDLC frameworks, with hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and improving IT service and software development processes.
- Proven experience in leading technical or project teams.
- Strong ability to coordinate work between a technical team and both internal and external stakeholders.
- Practical knowledge of DevOps and SRE practices.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in a DevOps, SysOps, or System Administrator role (cloud environments welcome).
- Solid understanding of data center technologies (servers, networking, storage, load balancers -general level).
- Practical knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization.
- Strong familiarity with Linux-based systems (any distribution).
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Comfortable communicating across different levels of an organization.
