Poland onlySOFTSWISS is seeking a DevOps/Systems Engineer to collaborate with product development teams, prepare infrastructure, implement new features, and automate systems. The role involves investigating and resolving incidents, developing CI pipelines, and providing technical consulting services. The company is an international iGaming software expert and a leading provider in the industry.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- At least 3 years of professional experience in systems engineering or a similar role
- Good understanding of Linux-like operating systems
- Hands-on experience with configuration management tools (Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Saltstack) and shell scripting
- Experience with containerization, virtualization, and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, LXC/LXD)
- Solid understanding of the CI/CD process and tools (Gitlab CI)
- Experience with distributed systems
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus stack/Zabbix)
- Experience in information system design
- Development skills in any widely used scripting language
- Experience in database administration (preferably PostgreSQL)
- Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and evolving business needs
- Intermediate or higher English and Russian (B1+)
- Familiarity with modern AI-powered tools
- Technology stack: Bare-metal/Cloud, Saltstack, ELK, PostgreSQL (Patroni), Redis, Kafka, MongoDB, Vault, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform/Pulumi, Gitlab, Zabbix/Prometheus/VM + Grafana, Minio, Bareos
- Experience in learn how to quickly adapt to new technologies and evolving business needs
