About the role:
Our client is a product strategy, design, and development agency that works side-by-side with ambitious companies, brands, and founders to execute their holistic approach to strategy, design, and engineering.
We are looking for a SharePoint Specialist to collaborate on a project to migrate an on-prem client-facing SharePoint collaboration solution to SharePoint Online.
The effort will create a series of reusable templates that can be deployed for new engagements. The solution will provide automation to facilitate BU-level technologists to set up new client sites and enroll client contacts.
Main responsibility for this role:
- Collaborate with our system architecture team to evaluate existing and new SharePoint tools, including Power Automate and Power Platform.
- Provide expert guidance on the capabilities and best practices for utilizing Power Automate and Power Platform within our environment.
- Assist in identifying and defining custom development needs based on the reevaluation.
- Support the integration of SharePoint with other tools and platforms as needed.
- Contribute to the planning and design of automation workflows and platform solutions.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and technical standards.
Job Skills/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a SharePoint, Power Automate, and Power Platform expert.
- Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, customization, and integration.
- Hands-on experience designing and implementing workflows using Power Automate.
- Familiarity with the Power Platform suite, including Power Apps, Power BI (not mandatory), and Dataverse Tables.
- Development experience in Power Platform components: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI (optional), and Dataverse Tables.
- Development experience in SharePoint Online, including custom web parts, custom web extensions, Microsoft Graph API, Azure Functions, REST API, and SharePoint Online Client Apps.
- Experience with SharePoint migration using Sharegate from on-premises SharePoint to SharePoint Online.
- Knowledge and experience with SharePoint Taxonomy management.
- AI experience relevant to SharePoint or Power Platform solutions.
- Cloud certification in Azure or AWS (mandatory as per contractor requirements).
- Ability to analyze requirements and recommend scalable solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Prior experience working in system architecture or similar strategic roles is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications in SharePoint, Power Automate, or Power Platform.
- Experience with custom development and automation in enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of other related Microsoft 365 tools and services.
