We are seeking a top candidate to join our team as Systems Engineer.
Compensation:
COP 4M - 6.5M/month.
Location:
Remote (anywhere).

What makes you a strong candidate:
  • You have 3+ years of experience in systems engineering.
  • You are proficient in Docker, AWS, Kubernetes, and Linux administration.
  • English - Native or fully fluent.
Responsibilities and more:
Seeking a Systems Engineer to join our IT outsourcing team, working in a dynamic and collaborative environment. This position aims to provide support and maintenance of technological infrastructures to one of our international clients, based in Miami. If you have at least three years of experience in systems engineering and are enthusiastic about working with cutting-edge technologies in an outsourcing model, this is your opportunity.
As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our clients' IT infrastructures, ensuring their systems operate efficiently and securely. You will also work closely with other technical teams to implement improvements and ensure operational continuity of the systems.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and optimize the company's systems and servers, ensuring their efficient and secure operation.
  • Implement and maintain virtualization and network solutions.
  • Manage both on-premises and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.).
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to operating systems, networks, and hardware.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement new solutions.
  • Ensure the availability and security of technology services and infrastructure.
  • Conduct performance analyses and propose improvements to the technology infrastructure.
  • Prepare technical documentation and operational guides.
  • Participate in process automation and IT infrastructure improvements.
  • Collaborate on global technology implementation and support projects.
Nice to have:
  • Related certifications (ITIL, CompTIA, VMware, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, etc.).
  • Experience working in agile or DevOps environments.
  • Knowledge of systems monitoring and management tools.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Systems Engineer or in a similar position.
  • Advanced knowledge of Linux and Windows operating system administration.
  • Experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Strong knowledge of networking, IT security, and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience in scripting and automation with tools such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Knowledge of databases and storage management (SQL, NAS, SAN).
  • Strong problem-solving and incident management skills.
  • Intermediate/advanced English (fluent communication skills in an international environment).
  • University degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
