SOCi, the CoMarketing Cloud for Multi-Location Enterprises, is currently looking for a Deal Operations Manager to join our team. The Deal Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the renewal process, ensuring timely and accurate renewals, and maximizing revenue retention. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of success in managing renewal processes in a software company. The Deal Operations team is at the forefront of driving revenue growth and ensuring the success of our sales efforts. This department is responsible for managing the end-to-end deal lifecycle, from opportunity identification to contract negotiation and execution. By collaborating closely with sales, finance, legal, and other cross-functional teams, Deal Operations plays a pivotal role in optimizing deal structures, maximizing profitability, and accelerating deal velocity.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize the renewal process and improve renewal rates.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track renewal performance and drive continuous improvement.
  • Analyze renewal data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and contractual obligations throughout the renewal process.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for escalations and resolution of customer issues related to renewals.
  • Manage the end-to-end renewals process, including contract negotiations, pricing, and terms review, to ensure timely and successful renewals.
  • Collaborate with sales, customer success, and finance teams to develop renewal strategies and identify opportunities for revenue growth, forecast renewals, identify risks, and develop mitigation plans.
  • Analyze customer usage data, contract terms, and renewal history to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

What You’ll Need to be Successful

  • Remote Opportunity: Ability to work 100% remotely
  • Must Have:
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Deal Operations, Renewal Management, or a similar role in the software industry
    • Proven experience in negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms to drive revenue growth and customer success
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
    • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and knowledge of CPQ tools (e.g. DealHub CPQ)
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
    • Willing to adapt to changes in the job description as deemed necessary by the business and accept all other duties as assigned
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field
