We are looking for a Legal Secretary to join us!

To do what?

As a Legal Secretary, you will play a key role within Sleek by helping business owners and entrepreneurs start their projects with the registration of legal entities and the ongoing governance management!

More specifically?

  • Incorporation, annual maintenance and deregistration of Hong Kong companies
  • Preparation of minutes, resolutions, annual return, AGM etc.
  • Updating and maintaining statutory filings and corporate records
  • Changing in company structure / particulars e.g. shareholdings and directorships
  • Work with accounting team and auditors to ensure clients’ companies are in good compliance
  • Advise external and internal clients on company secretarial matters, also handling non statutory matters such as due diligence or regular review

Requirements

  • Proficiency in written and spoken Chinese and Cantonese mandatory (non proficient applicants will not be considered)
  • Degree or diploma in Business Administration/Corporate Governance or a related discipline
  • 1-3 years of related company secretarial experience in a professional firm or law firm (for HK or SG companies)
  • Basic knowledge of corporate secretarial law and familiar with Companies Ordinance, rules and regulations of regulatory bodies
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Independent, meticulous, proactive, attentive to details, self-motivated, keen to learn
  • Willing to take on new challenges and excellent communication skills with people
