Responsibilities
Client Servicing & Media Relations
- Identifies company and/or brands’ target group and audience and determine the best way to communicate publicity information to them.
- Writes interesting and effective press releases and ensures they reach the target audience. Prepares information for media kits and develops and maintains company internet or intranet web pages.
- Pitching of interviews and exclusive features.
- Media Follow-ups for press releases.
- Assists in Media Management.
- Develops and maintains the company’s corporate image and identity, which includes the use of logos and signage. Evaluates the advertising and promotional programs and ensures that they are compatible with the corporate and brand image.
- Formulates PR programs and campaigns as approved by the management. Evaluates advertising and promotion programs for compatibility with public relations efforts.
- Works closely with the Digital & Creatives in any corporate or brand’s image positioning initiatives such as crafting new logos, taglines, corporate colors, etc.
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with the media representatives, trade magazines, radio and television, clients, vendors.
- Directs activities of external agencies, establishments, and departments that develop and implement communication strategies and information programs.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Public Administration, Advertising, Mass Communication or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in the same/similar position.
- Must have the sensitivity to gauge public perception about the company or individual based on media, survey polls and online opinion.
- Must have demonstrated success in implementing media campaigns including social media.
- Must have excellent tact, diplomacy, and persuasive skills in dealing with the press and media.
- Must have a good grasp of the industry, brands and in comparison to its competitors.
- Ability to multitask, and give quality output every time. Consistent, detail and goal oriented, and always strives for excellence.
- Creative and organized; with strong analytical and problem solving skills as well as good conflict/feedback management.
- Excellent verbal as well as written communication and negotiating skills.
- Flexible and able to manage multiple projects while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy.
