Job Title: QA Analyst (Web/App)
Location: 100% Remote (US Only)
Compensation: $70,000-$82,000 + Full Benefits Package
Reports to: QA
As a Quality Assurance Analyst (Web/App) is to deliver high quality service through quality assurance monitoring of client web / app experience with a mission of building trust in every interaction. Performing QA of new releases, advanced functionality and collaboration on new features to deliver a client first, AI enabled personalized experience is the number one goal of this role. In addition to completing web/app quality assurance, responsibilities include hosting internal feedback sessions, participating in UAT and providing reporting/quality trend analysis.
What you will do:
Develop, review, and maintain test plans for web and mobile application testing from the client experience to include UI/UX, data accuracy and training modules.
Lead the creation of test scenarios, test data setup, defect management, and test result documentation.
Support planning, construction, and execution of test cases (User Story level, regression, etc.) as part of Agile processes and in collaboration with project managers and business analysts.
Collaborate closely with development and business teams to ensure clear understanding of functional requirements and timely defect resolution.
Ensure appropriate prioritization and criticality of assignment of defects.
Provide accurate estimates for testing efforts and timelines.
Coordinate with business stakeholders for UAT sign-off.
Create and manage test plans for API integration testing to include Salesforce Experience Cloud, NetSuite, HRIS and Payment providers.
Some QA Analysts may be involved in developing and maintaining automated test scripts to improve efficiency.
Testing of AI functions
Testing: QA Analysts conduct various types of testing, including functional, performance, usability, and security testing.
Bug Detection and Reporting: They identify and document defects, ensuring that issues are tracked and resolved before release.
Test Case Development: QA Analysts create detailed test plans and test cases to guide the testing process.
Collaboration: They work closely with developers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
Test Planning & Design: Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and checklists based on functional requirements and user stories.
Manual Testing: Execute functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance tests on web and desktop applications. Identify, document, and track defects.
Test Automation: Build and maintain automated test scripts.
Defect Management: Log, prioritize, and work with developers to reproduce, validate, and retest issues. Ensure defects are resolved in a timely manner.
Collaboration: Partner with Product Owners, Developers, and DevOps to define testing scope, testing exit criteria, and participate in sprint meetings to align testing efforts with development cycles.
Reporting & Metrics: Produce clear and concise test summary reports, metrics, and dashboards to communicate testing progress, quality risks, and defect status to stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement: Advocate for QA best practices, implement process improvements, and help the team adopt new tools and methodologies to enhance testing efficiency.
Documentation: Write and maintain user guides, release notes, and internal knowledge base articles. Ensure documentation is clear and accessible to both internal teams and end-users.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience in software QA, with a focus on both manual and automated testing.
3+ years of experience in web/mobile application QA using Salesforce Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud and related clouds with a focus on both manual and automated testing.
Proven experience as a QA analyst with a focus on web/mobile applications in healthcare, healthcare technologies or similar.
Strong knowledge of test planning, execution, and defect tracking.
Hands-on experience with API integration testing.
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst (web/mobile app) in healthcare, healthcare technologies or similar industry
Ability to shift seamlessly between business analysis and process analysis roles.
Strong communication skills with experience leading discussions.
Knowledge of Veterans Benefits Administration industry processes and terminology is strongly preferred.
