On behalf of the Home Office, Serco manages the Asylum Accommodation and Support Services Contract (AASC) for the Midlands and East of England. The new contracts offer a range of improvements, with a particular focus on assisting individuals through the asylum system.
Due to rapid contract growth the AASC Analytics & Strategy directorate are looking for a further Analyst to join the team.
You will be responsible for the production of regular MI and performance reporting, MI automation within PowerBI, deep-dive insight and statistical analysis and the identification of initiatives to improve operational performance.

What you’ll need to do the job
The successful candidate will have demonstratable experience in PowerBI (desirable), Excel and MI production and will have a drive to develop and progress skills and expertise. Knowledge of SQL and Minitab is advantageous.
You will be adept at stakeholder engagement and be able to support in the development of guides, training videos, briefings and presentations to drive a data driven culture.
Effective time management skills and ability to manage and deliver a variety of priority tasks, prioritising own workload to meet specific timescales without prompt.
Flexibility and commitment is required – you will be expected to travel across sites as required.
