Intake Associate

PRIMARY PURPOSE: To accurately set up claims into the claims management system and provide support to the claims staff.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sets up and enters new claims into claims management system.
  • Enters claims data into claims management system upon requesting the appropriate information and analyzing the responses.
  • Make outbound calls to claimant and/or client to obtain new claim details
  • Find opportunities to refer claims within the organization
  • Assign claims using the tools provided
  • Support claims staff by providing accurate information during the claim set up process
  • Sets up Quotashare claims
  • Assist with creating documentation and processes to streamline workflow
  • Reviews daily reports to ensure claims are processed
  • Assist with file review to ensure accurate set ups
  • Other activities/projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Licensing

High school diploma or GED required.

Experience

One (1) year customer service experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

  • Good customer service skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
  • Analytical and interpretive skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
