About role

As an SAP Fiori Developer at our team, you would be responsible for designing, developing, and customizing SAP Fiori applications to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for SAP systems. You would closely collaborate with functional teams to transform business requirements into effective technical solutions, as well as ongoing maintenance and optimization of Fiori applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement custom SAP Fiori applications utilizing SAPUI5, JavaScript, HTML5, and modern web technologies.
• Collaborate with functional teams and business users to gather requirements, translating them into technical specifications and user interface designs.
• Integrate Fiori applications with SAP backend systems by consuming and developing OData services.
• Analyze and tune applications to ensure high performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues; conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Configure and manage the Fiori Launchpad, including the creation and assignment of tiles and catalogs for business users.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with development best practices and Fiori design guidelines.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, providing ongoing support for existing applications.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies, tools (like SAP Business Application Studio), and industry trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proficient in SAPUI5, JavaScript, HTML5, CS.
• Experience with OData services and SAP backend systems integration.
• Familiarity with SAP Web IDE, Eclipse, or similar development environments.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) for code management.
• Understanding of testing frameworks for functional and unit testing (e.g., QUnit, OPA5).
• Experience with performance analysis tools and methodologies to optimize application responsiveness.
• Knowledge of MVC architecture and Fiori design principles for creating user-friendly interfaces.
