About the role:

We are looking for a passionate payroll professional to join the global payroll team. You will be responsible for paying our employees on time, accurately, and help to drive the employee experience at Samsara.

• Utilize ADP WorkForceNow and Workday to process payroll changes such as garnishments, benefits deductions, and tax forms for semi-monthly payrolls
• Perform pre-and-post audits of payroll inputs to ensure accuracy
• Process and reconcile equity awards
• Research and resolve employee inquiries in a timely manner
• Drive process improvements and prepare standard operating procedures
• Partner with various third-party vendors on inbound/outbound payroll files
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned

Minimum requirements for the role:

• 3-5 years of U.S. payroll experience
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to work with large volumes of data and draw meaningful insights
• Strong partnership and ability to collaborate with teams across the organization
• Ability to work without supervision and take initiative
• Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and reasoning skills
• Prior experience with Workday/ADP and timekeeping systems

An ideal candidate also has:

• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to work remotely without close supervision
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively
