SageSure Insurance Managers, an industry leader in providing residential property solutions, is seeking highly motivated, self-driven and results oriented talent. The responsibilities will include developing learning & development strategies for the company. The Training Manager assesses what skills need to be taught, vet training content material and job aides, implement training strategies, and track training progress. Training Manager oversees trainers who teach classes and provide training sessions, design custom training modules, and implement eLearning platforms.rms. The Training Manager works collectively with SageSure’s Policy Services Leadership Team supporting the training needs and opportunities.
What you’d be doing:
- Optimize learning and development processes for efficiency by ensuring strategic alignment of the training department with business goals
- Evaluate individual and organizational performance to ensure training team is meeting business needs and improving performance
- Identify learning needs by consulting with stakeholders and leveraging needs assessments and performance metrics, and then developing learning solutions that fill identified gaps and opportunities
- Assess employees’ skills, talents, performance and productivity and prepare written evaluations with advice for improvement
- Research and develop new learning materials, tactics, and delivery methods that enhances our learning program and provide value to our employees
- Search for gaps in training material or content that should be filled to ensure safety and productivity among staff members
- Oversee the management of common knowledge resources used by the department
- Coordinate the communication of content and process changes across the department
- Communicate with team members, trainers and management to ensure all needs are met
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Human Resource, Education or Business Administration) or 3+ years of similar work experience
- Strong knowledge of learning and development best practices
- Proven track record of training program development and management
- Excellent leadership skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to organize information and have attention to detail and accurately follow procedures
- Ability to work alone with minimum supervision and with others in a team environment, occasionally under time pressure and on several tasks at the same time
- Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills
Highly preferred candidates also have:
