Here’s How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Manage & Mentor a cross-functional team of DevOps, SecOps, and SysOps engineers, helping them in delivering on our goals while growing in their careers.
- Own the teams’ backlog, creating a visible workflow to ensure that every task is tracked, estimated, and prioritized against business goals.
- Align the team's planning with the other leaders in Engineering, Product and Project to facilitate cross-team initiatives, shielding the team from context switching while ensuring stakeholders know exactly what is being delivered and when.
- Work with the development teams to build a "self-service platform", establishing reusable templates and standardized workflows so developers can ship code more independently.
- Build team KPIs and system SLOs to visualize performance, identify bottlenecks and ensure proactive reliability
- Bridge the gap between the Engineering Team and Product stakeholders, translating technical debt into business risk and explaining infrastructure investments in terms of value.
- Establish comprehensive documentation and runbooks to cover the infrastructure, tools and processes owned by the teams
- Work hand-in-hand with other Leads to ensure our CI/CD pipelines and tooling align with their needs, always being an enabler and never a blocker
