In this pivotal role, you will spearhead strategic initiatives as part of our Collins Mission Systems team. Your expertise will be instrumental in onboarding new cost analysts, ensuring a seamless transition into our high-performing team. What You Will Do:

  • Plan and control finances for fixed price and cost re-determinable development programs, ensuring effective administration.
  • Develop and maintain the Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) and Contract Work Breakdown Structure (CWBS) for project management.
  • Analyze program cost and schedule performance, identifying trends, and providing corrective action recommendations to the Project Leadership Team (PLT).
  • Interact with external customers for cost and schedule data, and support contract Estimates at Complete (EACs) for financial backing of program teams.
  • Assist Program Management in risk and opportunity assessment, demonstrating expertise in Earned Value Management and scheduling tools like Deltek Cobra and SAP/BW.
  • Communicate effectively, work collaboratively, and apply knowledge of company systems and policies to support business objectives.
  • Analyze and forecast monthly sales, profit, and milestone billings, providing variance analysis and compliance support for internal and external audits.
  • Mentor and train cost analysts, providing leadership and performing backup duties as needed.
  • Adapt to unexpected events, meet critical deadlines, and support the Integrated Strategic Solutions business initiatives.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience oran Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.
  • Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Prior experience with government contracts is highly preferred.
  • Expertise in planning and scheduling, particularly with relevant software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project
  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management concepts
  • Flexibility to travel up to 10%.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
