Compensation range for this role is : $85,000 - $95,000
As a Lead Analyst, Carrier Operations Rating at RXO, you will serve as the primary owner of carrier operations rates. In this role you will ensure rates are competitive and reflect the latest economic conditions in each market and in pricing analysis for client contracts and rate estimates for carrier recruiting. What your day-to-day will look like:
- Refresh rates and adjustment pay guidelines across markets and incorporate new clients into rates as they are added to portfolio.
- Ensure markets within similar geographic areas have fair rates to avoid carrier turnover.
- Balance operational and financial considerations to appropriately adjust market rates based on unique carrier cost requirements, competitive dynamics for carrier recruitment, and changes to client terms.
- Ensure the latest settlement rates are translated into commercial terms with clients / pricing, CLM configuration, and carrier recruiting teams.
- Work closely with market managers, finance, and revenue management.
What you’ll need to excel:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience
- 4 years of experience in one or more key functional areas: supply chain management, logistics, decision support systems/technology, transportation management and distribution or procurement functional responsibilities.
- Transportation and network modeling experience
- Expert-level user of Windows applications and Microsoft Office programs such as MS Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
It would be great if you also have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Industrial Engineering.
- Analytical modeling through understanding of carrier should-cost clean-sheeting and managing models to generate / test new settlement rates (for both annual refreshes and new client introductions).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication to various stakeholders with ability to explain rate updates and structures to market teams as well as commercial team members to inform favorable revenue terms.
