What YOU will do:

  • You will lead requirements analysis and solution selection for the Knowledge Management System to enhance program predictability and speed up new resource onboarding.
  • You will define and execute a strategic plan for managing knowledge, implementing it in phases based on business priorities and value.
  • You will drive proof-of-concept and pilot deployments of AI tools to synthesize and deliver knowledge packets in-context to end-users.
  • You will lead workshops to capture, validate, and curate knowledge from the workforce, ensuring consistency and efficiency for new hires.
  • You will establish governance processes for regular review, validation, and updates of KMS data.
  • You will create and lead training programs to ensure effective adoption of the Knowledge Management System and other Engineering Excellence initiatives.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience oran Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in the engineering and manufacturing industry, preferably aerospace.
  • Experience in Knowledge Management Systems, AI, or data analytics.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional, global projects and partnerships.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with Collins Management System (CMS) or a similar system.
  • Experience in project lifecycle management and the use of project management systems.
  • Familiarity with enterprise tools such as training systems or internal universities.
  • Understanding of digital product lifecycle frameworks, tools, and objectives.
  • Expertise in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) methods.
  • Strong communication skills across various leadership levels.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
