We’re looking for an organized, detail-oriented Project Manager to join our fully remote team. In this role, you’ll manage and coordinate customer campaigns across multiple channels, overseeing projects from initial consultation through final delivery. You’ll work cross-functionally with internal teams and ensure clear, timely communication with stakeholders.

Our Account Specialist will coordinate and manage customer campaigns for multiple creative projects, across several channels, throughout the lifecycle (initial meeting through final disposition of a customer’s project).

Responsibilities:

  • Project manage customer campaigns for variable print or pre-media throughout the lifecycle (initial meeting through final disposition of a customer’s project).
  • Analyze and review the customer requirements and make a determination on the scope of the overall project.
  • Pull together the appropriate resources/departments required to successfully implement a customer campaign.
  • Estimate time frames, and resources (programming, composition, photo, creative, prepress, etc.) required to complete a project.
  • Possess an in-depth understanding of the Client’s business objectives
  • Implement workflows after evaluating complexity, deliverables, and costs/job profitability.
  • Maintain the master schedule for all project activities and conduct periodic status checks to assess progress against the schedule.
  • Make changes to plans when requirements change/shift.
  • Communicate customer project status to appropriate stakeholders and disseminate information on problems or potential delays.
  • May hold color creative review meetings with the customer to review and make changes to jobs.
  • Follow established proofing and check-off list procedures
  • May be involved in establishing test cases and final sign-off on projects for going live to the customer.
  • Manage customer expectations and ensure the completed work meets customer SLAs
  • Able to demonstrate the ability to solve somewhat more complex problems by analyzing variables and applying appropriate solutions learned through experience and proficiency in understanding the job.
  • Must be able to recognize anomalies and critical situations and respond appropriately
  • Continuously evaluate workflows for improved implementation efficiencies, deliverables, and costs/job profitability.
  • Suggest opportunities to RRD leadership to educate the client on services - directly or through RRD support teams
  • Ensure project estimates are approved by the customer before any project moves forward to print.
  • Maintain project schedules and monitor progress against deadlines.
  • Adjust plans as requirements change and escalate risks promptly.
  • Communicate status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Attend regular planning meetings and provide detailed recaps • Review all estimates received from internal departments for accuracy
  • Manage complex projects under tight deadlines within established budgets
  • Other duties as assigned by leadership
  • Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to functional work
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience

Skills and Certifications:

  • Able to demonstrate the ability to solve somewhat more complex problems by analyzing variables and applying appropriate solutions learned through experience and proficiency in understanding the job.
  • Must be able to recognize anomalies and critical situations and respond appropriately.
  • Must be able to communicate and interact with a variety of internal/external customers and/or coworkers at the level of detail required to resolve issues of moderate complexity.
  • Able to apply strong functional computer knowledge in utilizing Microsoft Windows, MAC, or other technical tools in completing assignments.
  • May require knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn specialized software to complete work .
  • Able to demonstrate continued expertise in the primary tools or applications used in completing daily work assignments.
  • Requires very good communication skills with the ability to state messages clearly by using language that is easy for others to understand.
  • Must be able to proactively listen to others to understand issues and situations.
  • Must be able to clearly articulate business needs to both internal and external customers.
  • Experience using Project Management tools such as Aproove, Workfront, or Wrike.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum principles and workflows.
  • Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, fully remote environment.

  • Contribute to team efficiency and process adherence.

RRD's current salary range for this role is $66,300 to $97,400 / year. The salary range may be adjusted based on the applicable geographic location of the hired employee, and the range may change in the future. At RRD, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. Depending on the role, in addition to base salary, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program. RRD’s benefit offerings include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, life insurance and other voluntary supplemental insurance coverages, plus parental leave, adoption assistance, tuition assistance and employer/partner discounts.
