The Position

We are looking for you to join Roche and our Roche Services & Solutions Center in Budapest.

Your day to day responsibilities are:

As a Continuous Improvement Senior Expert , you will hold a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance within our P&C (People & Culture) organization. With expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, Agile methodologies, process documentation, regulatory standards, and risk management, you will lead cross-functional initiatives, mentor teams, and optimize processes to elevate our overall performance.

The position official name is Continuous Improvement Specialist.

As a qualified expert, you:

  • Lead the identification and implementation of Continuous Improvement projects of all sizes in accordance with the Continuous Improvement (CI) framework for P&C.

  • Develop and maintain the CI capabilities program to equip the P&C team for effective CI initiatives.

  • Mentor, guide, and activate a network of CI ambassadors within P&C teams.

  • Execute significant CI projects to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and add value.

  • Provide training to enable P&C team members to apply CI methodologies proficiently.

  • Identify valuable processes and areas of waste through thorough business analyses.

  • Support the definition and own the implementation of a robust quality framework with structured documentation for P&C.

  • Continuously enhance the quality and compliance processes, ensuring alignment with standards.

  • Cultivate a quality-focused culture by leading a network of quality ambassadors.

  • Manage critical incidents by analyzing root causes and creating preventive plans.

  • Contribute to developing audit and compliance best practices, ensuring adherence to regulations.

  • Collaborate with P&C leadership to support compliance and audit-related activities.

What can you bring to our team:

  • We are seeking an individual with 4- 5+ years of related experience in Continuous Improvement and Quality Management or related fields.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; advanced degree is a plus.

  • Regularly required to work across time zones.

  • Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile methodologies.

  • Adept at implementing comprehensive CI frameworks to enhance processes, drive efficiency, and deliver tangible value

  • Demonstrated expertise in process thinking, structured documentation, and ability to create streamlined processes.

  • Experience in Quality Assurance, sampling definition, assessment forms and structured follow up of actions for improvement and coaching.

  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory standards, audit, controls, and risk management.

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Change management proficiency to foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality consciousness.

  • Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken) are essential. Additional languages a plus, based on region/customer requirements.

  • Effectively demonstrating the People & Culture Capabilities: Diagnose to deliver, Stakeholder partnership, Digital & data acumen, Business acumen.

  • Travel - minimized by leveraging virtual collaboration methods.
