The Position

As the Mobility Operations Team Lead at Roche, you will play a pivotal role in steering the Mobility Operations division. Your primary responsibility will be to manage and oversee all facets of Mobility Operations, with a strong emphasis on achieving customer-focused Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and maintaining a client-centric approach in service delivery. This role involves the management of the team to ensure top-tier service levels and the implementation and enhancement of processes to meet these standards.

Your opportunities:

  • Team Management and Leadership: you will directly manage a diverse team within Mobility Operations, focusing on areas such as Mobility Finances, Tax Equalization, Data Quality, data analysis and transferee experience. Furthermore, you will manage regional collaboration with other Mobility Team leaders to ensure consistency of process and output

  • Process and Policy Enhancement: you will implement and continuously improve processes and policies within Mobility Operations liaising with various internal stakeholders, and maintain integrity and reliability of Mobility Systems and support functions (Tax and Immigration Vendor Support, Payroll Processing)

  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: you will regularly assess and report on team performance and service delivery at a global scale, ensure strict adherence to KPIs and completion of necessary checklists, and provide comprehensive management reporting and data analysis

  • Quality Control and Compliance: you will monitor and audit processes underpinning the broader Mobility Area of Practice, ensure high-quality billing and efficient collaboration with overseas affiliates on payments

  • Team Development and Process Training: you will provide guidance on complex operational processes, and conduct training sessions for the Mobility team on process updates and policy amendments.

  • Additional Role Aspects: as a member of the Mobility Area of Practice Leadership team, you contribute to strategic decision-making and operational excellence. You foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team and the broader organization.

You have a robust background in global mobility, exceptional leadership skills, and a strong focus on operational success and team motivation. As the ideal candidate you will be adept at managing complex scenarios, fostering stakeholder relationships, and driving innovative solutions to meet evolving business needs.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and innovate within Roche's Mobility Operations, contributing significantly to the company's operational success and strategic objectives.

  • Global Mobility Expertise: You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in relocation and/or global mobility, preferably within an operations-focused role.

  • Operational Excellence: You have demonstrated ability in translating initiatives into operational success, particularly in a global relocation or assignment management context.

  • Leadership and Influence: You have proven ability to lead and motivate team members towards exceeding KPIs.

  • People Management: You bring strong experience in managing global teams, coupled with excellent cross cultural and interpersonal skills. You have proven leadership skills in managing operations teams, preferably in mobility or related fields.

  • Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English enable you to build a trustful network with diverse internal stakeholders.
