About the role
The Solutions Engineer willoperateat the intersection of Sales, Implementation, and Customer Success, helping prospective and existing customers understand how Rimsys can solvetheirregulatory challenges.You’llpartner withAccount Executives(AEs)and Regulatoryto run discovery, translate complex regulatory workflows into clear solution recommendations, and deliver tailored demos that show the value of the platform.This includes collaboration with AEsto refine solution positioning, respond to follow-up technical questions, and support progression of opportunities.
You will also support Implementation and Customer Success by helping deliver targeted demonstrations during onboarding and adoption, ensuring customers understand best practices and solution design. In addition, you will present future facing product capabilities to prospects and walk them through upcoming enhancements before they are released to help them understand our roadmap.

What you'll do
Sales Cycle Support
- Partner with Account Executives to conduct discovery and understand customer pain points
- Configure and manage sandbox evaluations
- Translate regulatory workflows into solution recommendations that align with customer needs
- Deliver custom demos and solution walkthroughs aligned to prospect use cases
- Present future facing product capabilities and walk prospects through upcoming product enhancements
- Build solution narratives that mapRimsyscapabilities to business outcomesand ROI
- Contribute to RFP and RFI responses by completing technical sections and solution requirements
- Prepare and deliver demo presentations aligned to formal evaluation criteria
Technical and Product Collaboration
- Support technical evaluation discussions, including data workflows, integrations, and configuration considerations
- Walk customers through integration strategy and the technical details of how Rimsys integrates with their systems
- Provide structured feedback to Product on recurring requests, gaps, and opportunities
- Act as an internal subject matter expert on regulatory processes andreal worldcustomer use cases
Implementation and Customer Success Alignment
- Support Implementation and Customer Success by delivering tailored demos during onboarding and adoption
- Participatein early onboarding conversations tovalidatesolution design and reinforce best practices
- Document critical solution details to ensure a smooth handoff from Sales to Implementation
Who You Are
- 5+ years in a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, or similarpresalesrolein an enterprisesoftware company
- Strong preference forrelevant industryexperienceworking withMedTech, pharma, or life sciences
- Ability to translate complex regulatory challenges into simple, clear solution narratives
- Skilled at delivering tailored demos, guiding discovery, and engaging stakeholders
- Experience working with SaaS platforms that use REST APIs and or webhooks
- Self-directed, organized, and comfortable operating in afast-movingenvironment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to adapt to both technical andnon-technicalaudiences
- Collaborative and comfortable workingcross functionallywith Sales, Product,Regulatory,Engineering, Implementation, and Customer Success teams

Preferred education and experience
- Exposure to regulatory affairs processes such as submissions, registrations, UDI, and lifecycle management
- Background supporting global regulatory teams or RA or QA software
- Experience in high-growth, transformational startup environments

In addition to base salary, this job is eligible to receive equity in the form of restricted stock units, and depending on the position offered, it may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus or commission.

Compensation: $150,000–$190,000 yearly (base + variable), depending on experience.
