Job Description

Product operations is a critical role at Revalize that facilitates the easy communication and sharing of resources and data between departments and fosters cross-departmental collaboration around the product and product insights to identify areas for improvement and inform business decisions. Product Ops collects and manages data, selects software tools, and creates standards and best practices for internal teams. Essentially, helping cross-functional product teams work effectively and efficiently. Product Ops is a trusted advisor not only to the product team but to all internal teams by providing key product information and insights to key decision-makers

Responsibilities

  • Own and optimize Product Management data, metrics, and reporting

    • Develop and optimize the Product scorecard

    • Partner with PMs, Finance, Sales, Customer Success, and RevOps to standardize and streamline the data-sharing cadence, format, and tools to ensure optimal product reporting, analysis, insights, and decision making

  • Own and optimize Product Management processes (including customer/user experience)

    • Quarterback the annual and quarterly strategy and roadmap process

    • Identify tasks that are time-consuming and repetitive, then develop more efficient, standardized ways of completing them by creating, sharing, and refining the processes that power the product team

    • Develop and facilitate the Product team onboarding process for new hires

    • Build and optimize the product launch process – internal and external

    • Create and optimize the customer feedback loop, including the tools

  • Own and optimize the Product Management tools

    • Lead the assessment and procurement of PM tools, including managing relationships with vendors for renewals, upgrades, and managing administrator duties

    • Facilitate the training of the product team on the proper use of the tools with guides and creation of best practices for each tool

    • Optimize cross-functional alignment and communication

    • Standardize and train the cross-functional communication, knowledge sharing, and cadence for the product team

  • Own the company-wide product communications for key product updates, changes, and releases (including standardization of release notes)

    • Ensure standardization and training of the Product-Development partnership and process and identify areas for improvement

    • Share product-related data, resources, and ideas with teams outside of the product, and receive important communications from other teams to prevent a siloed culture within the business.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

  • 3+ years of experience in product management, operations, project management, or analyst roles.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing product development processes.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent project management skills, including experience with Agile methodologies.

  • Proficiency in product management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Technical Knowledge

  • Understanding of software development processes and technologies.

  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques.

  • Knowledge of market research methods and competitive analysis.
