Video Editor for a Marketing Agency

My name is Cam and I am the CEO at Opes Growth. We are a marketing growth agency in the Professional Services Industry. We are bringing a fresh way to build client acquisition systems that generate a consistent pipeline for our clients using cold email and a remarketing ecosystem we developed.

We are looking to hire a creative Video Editor who has a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling and is adept at transforming raw footage into compelling visual narratives. Skilled in using advanced editing software and innovative techniques to produce high-quality content that captivates and engages audiences.

This role is a full-time remote contractor position.

Requirements

We are looking for a Video Editor specifically with these requirements:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Possesses over 2+ years of experience in video editing including motion graphics.
• Has at least 2+ years of experience in professional services, the B2B industry, and the marketing space.
• Has experience with full-length video editing, specifically podcast and YouTube edits (and the ability to turn into social media snippets).
• Has experience creating and editing direct response and VSL ad videos.
• Expertise in video editing software such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and other similar software.
• Experience in aiding viewers in understanding the copy behind the video.
• Ability to adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency across various video content.

Nice to have:

• Experience video editing for a Youtuber.
• Experience in Graphic Design .
• Strong storytelling and narrative skills in video editing, including scanning and selecting impactful B-rolls.

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Completing the video editing tasks assigned, editing raw footage from podcasts, recordings, YouTube videos.
• Editing and assembling final visual/audio material ensuring consistency and coherence in storytelling.
• Editing full-length podcasts and YouTube edits with motion graphics, overlays, and subtitles matching the branding of the current client.
• Creating high-converting long-form VSLs and UGC-styled videos optimized for Facebook ads.
• Adhering to deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
