Video Editor for a D2C Ecommerce Company

My name is Iskander and I am the CEO at Blue Brands - We are a fast-growing e-commerce portfolio specializing in innovative solutions. Our leading brands, Zura and Pluxy, cater to niche markets with Zura offering specialized airway muscle trainers for those with sleep apnea, and Pluxy providing premium epilators and related products.

We are looking to hire a creative Video Editor who has a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling and is adept at transforming raw footage into compelling visual narratives. Skilled in using advanced editing software and innovative techniques to produce high-quality content that captivates and engages audiences.

This role is a full-time remote position.

Requirements

We are looking for a Video Editor specifically with these requirements:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Possesses over 2+ years of experience in video editing.
• Has at least 2+ years of experience in D2C ecommerce
• Expertise in video editing software such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and other similar software.
• Strong storytelling and narrative skills in video editing, including scanning and selecting impactful B-rolls.
• Experience in aiding viewers to understand the copy behind the video.
• Ability to adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency across various video content

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Completing the video editing tasks he will be assigned, which can include: generating AI VO with eleven labs; sourcing footage on YouTube/TikTok; edit raw footage from actors;
• Editing and assembling final visual/audio material ensuring consistency and coherence in storytelling.
• Creating high-converting long-form VSLs and UGC-styled videos optimized for Facebook ads.
• Responding to feedback from the marketing team to make necessary adjustments to video content.
• Adhering to deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
