Regenified’s purpose is to accelerate the adoption of regenerative agriculture by translating data and intelligence into trusted, unified, and common enablers that power a regenerative economy. To date, our standards have been approved by the largest grocery chains in the world and we have been actively verifying large acres of farmland producing grains, beef, poultry, eggs and fresh produce.

The Role

We are seeking a Financial Controller to build and own the financial backbone that enables Regenified to scale with discipline, clarity, and confidence.

This role is accountable for the integrity of Regenified’s financial systems, reporting, and controls. You will own core accounting operations, lead financial planning and analysis, and serve as a strategic finance partner to Commercial, Verification, and Enterprise leadership.

The ideal candidate is both detail oriented and strategic. They are equally comfortable closing books, designing financial models, and advising leadership on pricing, margin, and investment decisions. As Regenified grows, you will ensure financial rigor, cash discipline, and decision-quality keep pace with ambition.

What You’ll Do

• Own the design and ongoing maintenance of Regenified’s Chart of Accounts (CoA) and financial segmentation model to enable clear reporting by customer, product, and function
• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close, ensuring timely reconciliations and accurate financial statements
• Drive Accounts Receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, and cash flow discipline
• Oversee Accounts Payable and payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and appropriate controls
• Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including budgeting, re-forecasting, and performance tracking across all teams
• Enforce financial discipline and prudent cost management, partnering with leadership to manage spend against plan
• Advise Commercial leadership on pricing, customer mix, and deal economics to support margin and growth objectives
• Deliver accurate, timely financial reporting and insight to leadership and the board
• Serve as internal product owner for accounting (Xero), expense management (Ramp), and payroll (Deel), ensuring systems are reliable, integrated, and scalable
• Establish strong financial governance, including internal controls, revenue recognition policies, and audit readiness
• Coordinate tax, compliance, and statutory reporting

What You’ll Bring

• Strong alignment with Regenified’s mission and a desire to apply financial rigor in support of regenerative agriculture
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or controllership roles within a growing or complex organization. CPA certification required.
• Deep knowledge of accounting principles, financial close processes, internal controls, and financial governance
• Proven experience leading budgeting and performance management
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into clear, actionable insights
• Experience advising on pricing, margin, and customer or product economics
• Hands-on experience with accounting and finance systems (Xero preferred, but not required), expense management, and payroll platforms
• High attention to detail combined with sound judgment around cost management, cash flow, and risk
• Comfort operating in a fast-paced, early-stage environment
• Clear communicator and collaborative partner, able to work effectively across Commercial, Operations, and Executive teams
