Software Test Engineer

Experience: 1 to 2 years

Key Responsibilities

• Execute manual and automated test cases based on requirements and user stories.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to resolve issues.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups(DSC)
  Perform regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.
  • Assist in writing and maintaining test cases and test scripts.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and practices.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
  • Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
  • Experience with manual testing exposure to automation tools like Selenium, Postman, is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SQL and ability to write basic queries.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities.

Qualifications

- B.E / M.C.A

• 1 to 2 years of experience in software testing or QA roles.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to API testing and tools like Postman or REST Assured.
