Front End Software Engineer (Spain hybrid / remote)

Based in Barcelona, Qustodio is a fast-growing internet safety company whose mission is to provide a safe digital experience for every child. Our product is the top multi-platform parental control solution that is used and loved by millions of families globally, and is one of the leading brands worldwide in the Digital Wellbeing category.

We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to help us bring our product to the next level, with strong technical and communication skills.

The candidate would join our international Engineering Team and work together with engineers, UX experts, and other stakeholders. They should be a team player with a passion for technology.
Above all, we are looking for a talented professional open for a great challenge, willing to learn new technologies, and ready to do whatever it takes to keep our customers and the business happy.

Requirements

What you bring to the table

• You aspire to create software that wows people.
• You build solutions that aim for the best product usability.
• You know and apply modern software architecture patterns (e.g. clean and hexagonal architectures).
• Testing is a first-class citizen for you.
• You are very experienced with JavaScript frameworks (we work with React).
• You come from a computer science background or similar.
• Fluency in English (we work in English).

Bonus points for

• You have experience in an agile workflow, like Kanban.
• You have worked before with a server-side language like Python.
• You are familiar with hybrid mobile apps.
• You are an open-source contributor, you have a tech blog or side project, or a repository in GitHub.
