ProArch is seeking a skilled and experienced Snowflake Developer to join our team. As a Snowflake Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain data warehousing solutions using the Snowflake platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Create and manage Snowflake objects such as databases, tables, views, and stored procedures.
- Design and implement efficient and scalable data models.
- Work closely with data architects to ensure the integrity and efficiency of data models.
- Ensure effective Design, Development, Validation and Support activities in line with client needs and architectural requirements.
- Implement and maintain security measures within Snowflake.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and regulatory requirements.
- Create and maintain documentation for Snowflake solutions, including design documents, procedures, and guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ year of experience as snowflake developer including analysis, design, coding, testing, deploying, and supporting of applications.
- Knowledge of design principles and fundamentals of architecture.
- Experience in Data Migration from SQL to Snowflake cloud data warehouse.
- Hands on experience with Snowflake utilities SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Big Data model techniques using Java/Python.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Experience in performance tuning of the snow pipelines and should be able to troubleshoot the issue quickly.
- Experience in databases like Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres.
- Should be able to demonstrate the proposed solution with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Engage with onsite offshore team for daily activities Status reporting weekly and monthly basis.
- Preferred Snowflake certification, Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python)
