Implementation Consultant

What you will be doing:

This position will work to ensure a high quality of service is delivered across all implementation encounters for Premier’s Procure to Pay (P2P) software. The product suite includes mission critical information systems key to the daily operations of healthcare providers accounts payable department. Implementation scope is complex and varied consisting of enterprise-wide deployments that include strategic, operational, technical and data related components. This position will be responsible for executing against organizational goals, driving an exceptional customer experience, measuring performance and maximizing revenue recognition. Responsibilities will include implementing/tracking performance metrics, monitoring project performance, scheduling projects, and collaborating with leadership on methodology continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibility #1– 80%

Implementation Management

• Become a proficient user of the tools and applications with a focus on the optimization of business processes and understanding best practices
• Configure and implement software products to meet specific customer requirements
• Create detailed project plans and conduct regular project reviews to monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities
• Consistently meet project milestone dates and ensure the customer completes the required elements to have a successful implementation
• Provide the Accounts Payable department with comprehensive and thorough training on the tools and applications
• Provide members with exceptional customer service in order to maintain positive client relations for future opportunities
• Work individually or within a team on software consulting projects
• Maintain initiative and the ability to work independently, while thriving in a setting requiring collaboration and teamwork for maximal efficiency and effectiveness
• Work directly with Premier member employees to train and consult
• May include some customer support and presales activities

Responsibility #2 – 20%

Continual quality improvement

• Continual refinement of methodologies to ensure optimal client results
• Working towards operational excellence and continual quality improvement to drive an optimal client experience as well as internal efficiency
• Coordination with other teams/individuals involved in the service delivery process

​Required Qualifications

Work Experience:

Years of Applicable Experience - 2 or more years

Education:

High School Diploma or GED (Required)

Preferred Qualifications

Skills:

• Experience accounts payable

• Experience with requirements definition, project management, leading and driving projects to fruition

Experience:

• Exceptional leadership, client management, organization and interaction skills

• Bachelor’s degree

Jobs are sedentary if movement is required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.Premier’s compensation philosophy is to ensure that compensation is reasonable, equitable, and competitive in order to attract and retain talented and highly skilled employees. Premier’s internal salary range for this role is $64,000 - $118,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location. Premier utilizes a wide-range salary structure to allow base salary flexibility within our ranges.
