TheI&IKey Account Manager Regional Director (KAM RD)is responsible forleading and coaching theI&IKey Account Management Regional team, with a key focus on executing apatient'sfirst approach whileimpactingaligned market and brand goals.
WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE
As the most senior Account Management role in the field, theI&IKAM RBD will impact goal progression by utilizing local knowledge and leadership skills to coach their KAM direct reports to develop and execute against strategic account plans that are mutually aligned to both Pfizer and thecustomer. KAMRBDswill also compliantly provide and coach their KAMs to provide cross-functional leadership withaccount andcustomer information to enable collaborative communications that support aligned business imperatives across theappropriate rolesaligned to the Integrated Account Team model.
HOW YOU WILL ACHIEVE IT
Provide the day-to-day leadership and management of Account Management Colleagues, including alignment to brand / market goals, KPIs and performance management.
Take fullaccountabilityfor all personnel issues and act as thefinal pointof escalation for all Account Management roles in their region, coordinating with theKAM National Leadwhen needed.
Lead the consistent executionbusiness andaccount priorities within the region with a focus on long and short-term mutual value opportunities identified withprioritizedaccounts and aligned with market and brand goals, as well as company andthe I&IKey Account Managementvision.
Lead Account Management roles to execute whileleveragingthefull account teammodel and Account / Customer engagement strategies to drive business performance.
Deliver documentedcapabilities-basedcoaching to support skill excellence andoptimaldevelopment across the KAM team.
Manage the various budgets for the assigned region.
Maintain required technical,environmental,and Account Managementexpertisetorespond accurately and compliantly to all questionsregardingproducts, policies and business-related issues from customers andaccountmanagementcolleagues.
Recruit and select candidates for Account Management positions in compliance with Pfizer requirements,utilizingapproved hiring materials.
Work with cross functional partners todevelop therapeutic area goals, strategies, and tacticsfor KAMorganizations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must-Have
Applicantmust have a bachelor's degree with at least 12+ years of experience.
10+years ofpreviouspharmaceutical,biotech, or medical marketing/sales experience.
Experiencein Account Management/Key Account Managementwith at least three years spent in a promoted position withdemonstratedleadership of teams.
Previousleadership/supervisory experience and ability to develop and motivate others, lead through change, anddeliverbusiness imperativesrequired.
Proventrack recordof performance and meeting organizational goals.
Experience managing diverse teamsofcolleagues with different grades and responsibilities.
Proven ability to manage performance and develop talent.
Nice-to-Have
Master's degree with at least 10+ years of experience; OR a PhD with 7+ years of experience.
Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical business and the environmental and business trendsimpactingthe pharmaceutical industry.
Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to analyze and drawappropriate conclusionsusing approved Account Management metrics and measurements.
Strong communicationskillsincludethe ability to think and communicate with the audience’s needs first.
Excellent facilitation skills.
