About PERSUIT

We are PERSUIT, a LegalTech company dedicated to transforming the way companies engage outside legal counsel. Our journey began when our founder, Jim Delkousis, after years as a partner in BigLaw, recognized the significant inefficiencies in the traditional process of selecting and managing external law firms. In an era where technology was revolutionizing other industries and corporate departments with sophisticated tools and automation, the legal function seemed to be lagging, often relying on manual processes and cumbersome spreadsheets. This observation sparked the idea for PERSUIT: a platform to bring transparency, efficiency, and data-driven decision-making to legal procurement.

Founded in Melbourne, Australia, in April 2016, our early days were challenging. The initial product releases didn't immediately gain traction, and we faced the harsh realities of a startup. However, a pivotal moment came when Jim relocated to the US, a move that proved crucial for our growth. Landing Walmart as a client in April 2018 was a significant milestone, validating our vision and the potential of our platform. Since then, we've been on an exciting trajectory, with major global companies like Shell and British Telecom adopting PERSUIT. We're passionate about empowering in-house legal teams to make smarter, more strategic decisions when it comes to their outside counsel spend. Our platform facilitates a competitive and transparent process, enabling clients to compare proposals based on cost, strategy, expertise, and diversity, all in one centralized place. We believe in the power of alternative fee arrangements (AFAs) and outcome-based pricing to create a more value-driven legal ecosystem. Our commitment extends to fostering a culture of trust, respect, and inclusion within our own team, and we continuously seek feedback to improve and innovate. We're not just building software; we're striving to redefine the business of law.
