Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a highly capable and customer-focused Technical Program Manager to support the First Responder Solutions program. This role is ideal for a dynamic leader who excels in a client-facing environment, drives technology delivery, and identifies opportunities to expand solution offerings—such as Command Point and other enhanced products—within the customer space.

The Technical Program Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple concurrent application development and operations initiatives while serving as a trusted advisor to the customer. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience, may have supervisory or lead experience
  • 6+ years of experience managing IT programs and/or application development projects
  • 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, with direct interaction with external clients or stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent technical projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience leading cross-functional or matrixed teams (developers, engineers, analysts)
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively brief senior leadership and customers
  • Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid)
  • Proven ability to manage schedules, deliverables, and performance in alignment with contract requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
  • Experience supporting public sector, first responder, law enforcement, or emergency management programs
  • Familiarity with product management and solution delivery, including experience positioning or implementing platforms such as Command Point, ViewPoint mapping, automatic vehicle routing, 911 Web, CAD to CAD integration, etc.
  • Experience identifying and supporting follow-on business or growth opportunities within existing programs
  • Background in application development, systems integration, or IT operations environments
