Remote Help Desk Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer service-oriented individual to join our team as a Help Desk Specialist at the Pentagoet Inn. As the first point of contact for our guests, this role is crucial in ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience during their stay. As a Help Desk Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and exceptional customer service to all guests, ensuring that their needs are met promptly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as the first point of contact for all guest inquiries, via phone, email, or in person.

- Respond to and resolve technical issues and inquiries relating to hotel amenities, such as Wi-Fi, computers, televisions, and other electronic devices.

- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while addressing guest concerns and issues.

- Keep detailed records of guest interactions and technical support provided.

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a proactive and consistent approach to guest satisfaction.

- Provide assistance and training to guests in the use of hotel technology, such as online reservations and room services.

- Continuously review and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of technical support processes.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and software advancements to provide the best support to guests.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical support or customer service role.

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.

- Familiarity with hotel operations and property management systems (PMS) is a plus.

- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.
