Role Overview:
You'll be at the forefront of our client's mission to bring people together through live events. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, your main focus will be leading the development of our client's new marketing and product landing pages built with React.js, Next.js and Vercel. These pages will be the first touchpoint for thousands of organizers and attendees, and your work will shape how people discover, trust, and engage with our client. We’re looking for someone who excels at building beautiful, high-performance web experiences. You’ll own projects that push the limits of modern frontend development: from crafting pixel-perfect, responsive designs, to ensuring lightning-fast load times, accessibility, and SEO optimization. You’ll also collaborate closely with design and product teams to deliver landing pages that not only look incredible but also drive measurable impact for our client's business.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the implementation of complex frontend features with a focus on performance and user experience
- Lead the architecture improvements and development of our client's React Native mobile applications
- Build and optimize high-performance landing pages with React.js, Next.js and Vercel, ensuring fast load times, excellent Lighthouse scores, and SEO best practices
- Optimize app and web performance, reducing bundle size and improving load times
- Drive mobile testing strategies and ensure high-quality releases
- Maintain and extend our shared component library and design system
- Implement analytics and tracking to gather insights about user behavior
- Collaborate with designers and product managers to deliver elegant solutions
- Mentor other frontend engineers and promote best practices
Ideal Candidate
- 5+ years of frontend development experience, with at least 3 years focused on React.
- Deep expertise in Expo, React, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript
- Hands-on experience deploying and scaling applications with Vercel
- Strong track record of building high-performance marketing sites and landing pages with attention to accessibility, SEO, and conversion optimization
- Experience with native modules, app performance optimization, and debugging
- Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and iOS/Android platform specifics
- Familiarity with mobile CI/CD pipelines and app store deployment processes
- Track record of building and maintaining large-scale mobile applications
- Experience with design systems and component libraries
