We are hiring a NAS Deployment Lead to join our team!
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provides leadership and coordination for the execution of system deployments across FAA facilities by managing deployment teams, schedules, and activities to ensure successful installation, integration, and transition of air traffic control systems from development through operational acceptance.
- Develops detailed deployment plans and schedules, manages deployment personnel and resources across multiple sites, coordinates site preparation and logistics activities, oversees installation and integration work, and ensures deployments are executed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinates closely with FAA facility managers and air traffic personnel to minimize operational disruptions, manages deployment risks and issues through proactive mitigation and rapid resolution, facilitates communication between deployment teams and program management, and ensures all deployment activities including testing, training, and documentation are completed successfully to achieve operational readiness and formal acceptance.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related technical/business field and 15+ years of related work experience or re
- Previous Deployment management experience on similar or related large-scope project types and
- Direct experience supporting FAA
- The ability to travel to worksites, as required
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred
