This role involves analyzing transactions, preparing regulatory filings, and ensuring accurate financial reporting in accordance with regulatory guidelines. Strong analytical skills and accounting background, financial reporting knowledge, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities are essential for success in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the team with various regulatory reporting deliverables including the preparation of legal entity (stand-alone) financial reports.
• Work with the legal team (internal) to timely and regularly address inquiries and questions from our regulators.
• Participate and assist with the month end close processes (i.e. journal entry preparation, balance sheet account reconciliation, etc.) with focus on legal entity reporting.
• Develop and standardize the regulatory reporting framework through automation and process documentation.
• Assist with ad hoc reporting deliverables.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or similar
• 1-3 years’ experience in accounting/finance
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
• Ability to meet strict deadlines
• Extreme attention to details
• Ability to prioritize multiple functions and work with limited supervision
• Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to work well and collaborate with internal and external partners
• Positive attitude and ability to adapt to change
• Time & schedule flexibility
• Big four public accounting experience preferred
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or equivalent, preferred
