In 2005, when the founder of OnSight PROS began managing properties, his primary focus was on collecting rent, handling maintenance issues, and managing evictions. Routine property inspections were not a priority until he realized that simply paying rent did not guarantee tenants were properly caring for their rentals. By 2010, he fully understood the critical importance of regularly inspecting properties to protect his clients' investments, some of which represented the largest financial assets those owners possessed.

After searching for an existing property inspection service and finding none that met his needs, he trained his own team and developed a systematic photo-based reporting process, compiling findings into easy-to-read PDF documents. The positive response from property owners led to the decision to offer this service to other property managers. In 2011, OnSight PROS was officially founded as a third-party solution for rental property inspections. The company has since grown from a regional operation to a national organization with a dedicated call center, scheduling division, and network of certified field inspectors across multiple states.

Today, OnSight PROS provides photo condition reports to landlords, property managers, and insurance companies. Their detailed reports document property code violations, insurance risks, maintenance issues, hazardous conditions, HOA violations, unauthorized pets, and potential illegal activity. As a four-time NARPM Affiliate of the Year, the company continues its mission to help property management businesses operate more productively with less hassle while delivering the professional documentation that protects both owners and managers.
