Picture yourself on the team

As Full-time Content Producer at Oni Studios, you’ll work closely with some of the largest online entertainment personalities and brands in the world to help them better interact and entertain diverse audiences in the millions. Your primary objective in this role is to help facilitate the production pipeline - from ideation and research in pre-production to giving the final thumbs up for produced content and assessing KPI targets in post-production. You’ll work closely with the Creative Director and Talent to ideate and strategically improve both new and current content. Then you’ll turn strategy into actionable plans for the Content Research, Video Editing, Video Production, and various other teams you will help to lead. Your expertise in content creation, the creator economy, and production will allow you to excel in this role and guide some Oni’s most business critical projects to a smashing success.

Primary functions

• Facilitating the communication and execution of Oni’s business-critical channels and projects by synergizing the efforts of various creative cross-departmental teams to ensure production is efficient, economically viable, and meets or exceeds performance metrics.
• Assist the Creative Director in setting up new channels and maintaining existing channels. Continuously monitor channel(s) and video(s) performance, manage daily upload schedule , and set video metadata.
• Work closely with the Creative Director, Talent, and stakeholders to develop a robust channel strategy and video ideation for various YouTube channels.
• Maintain an ever-expanding knowledge of emerging technologies, industry news, YouTube KPIs, editing techniques, and market trends to guide forecasting efforts.
• Thoughtfully lead cross-functional production teams to continuously improve produced content for existing and future multimedia platforms. Act as a mentor and partner to guide assigned teams. Provide industry training to employees.
• Develop clients and Talent to become stronger entertainers by communicating industry trends, research, and best practices.
• Meticulously comb through all production and provide critical feedback to various stakeholders to ensure all production is compelling, on-trend, consistent, and high-quality video content for multiple diverse brands.
• Manage pre-production - communicate ideas deliverables to various teams. Delegate action items to various team members and provide support as needed by use of Asana.
• Manage post-production - conduct quality assessments and provide constructive feedback to the Video Editing team. Ensure produced content is of exceptional quality and that the clients’ and teams creative visions are met.
• Communicate strategy, KPIs, and additional deliverables to stakeholders, clients, and sponsors in regular meetings. Collect feedback and make adjustments to production as required.
• Perform ad hoc duties as requested to support the production process and its stakeholders.

What you have accomplished

• 3+ years of experience managing sizable Content Creator clients and/or YouTube channels. Experience must prove a wizard-like understanding of content creation pipelines, channel management, ideation and branding strategy.
• Extensive knowledge of Youtube, Twitch, TikTok - including but not nearly limited to the platform’s algorithms, regulations, to audience preferences. Especially within the gaming and lifestyle spaces.
• Proven experience providing operational support and project managing cross functional teams. Experience managing project pipelines.
• Strong understanding and application of G-Suite, and project management applications (Asana, Monday, and Trello).
• Strong Bonus: Experience or education in Project Management, Organizational Development, Digital Marketing, Video Production, Business competencies and practices.
• Strong Bonus: Basic understanding of Adobe Suite - namely Premiere Pro and Photoshop.
• Strong command over the English language, both written and verbal.
