In 2010, three friends in the Swiss Alps shared a bold vision: to revolutionize the sensation of running. Retired athlete Olivier Bernhard had been experimenting with pieces of garden hose, gluing them to the outsole of his prototype running shoe in search of a completely new feel. When David Allemann and Caspar Coppetti came on board, together they formed On Holding AG with a mission to shake up the running industry.

The company's breakthrough came with the patented CloudTec® cushioning system, which delivers cushioned landings and powerful take-offs. Born from Swiss engineering excellence and a passion for innovation, On quickly gained recognition, winning the ISPO BrandNew Award in March 2010. Today, On has been welcomed into the hearts and onto the feet of over 7 million athletes across more than 50 countries, with headquarters in Zurich and global presence spanning from Portland to Yokohama.
