System Administrator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator with strong expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, securing, and optimizing IT infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, user efficiency, and smooth day-to-day operations. This role also requires strong communication skills and a good understanding of network fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.

• Manage and support Active Directory, including users, groups, and Group Policy configurations.

• Configure and manage Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.

• Manage Exchange Online and on-prem Exchange environments, mailbox creation, and troubleshooting mail flow issues.

• Implement and manage email archiving systems to ensure compliance and data retention.

• Oversee Microsoft Intra (Azure AD) for identity and access management.

• Configure and maintain Autoconnect and ensure smooth endpoint connectivity.

• Implement and monitor endpoint security solutions for devices and data protection.

• Utilize Veritask for IT task management, monitoring, and performance tracking.

• Apply Privileged Access Management (PAM) best practices for secure access control.

• Perform regular system updates, patch management, and backups.

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.

• Monitor and maintain basic network operations, including LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and VPNs.

• Maintain accurate documentation for configurations, assets, and operational procedures.

• Communicate effectively with internal teams and end users to provide technical support and ensure system reliability.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience as a Windows System Administrator or similar role.

• Strong experience with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Active Directory management.

• Expertise in Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online administration and email archiving solutions.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Intra (Azure AD) and identity access management.

• Experience with endpoint security tools, Veritask, and Autoconnect.

• Basic understanding of Privileged Access Management (PAM).

• Basic network knowledge (LAN, WAN, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls).

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
